I’ve had a love of animals since a very young age. At four years old, I started helping my mom raise our rabbits and chickens. At five years old, I started showing rabbits. I became very involved in learning about the type of care they needed.
To me, coming to work is less of a chore and more of an extension of my compassion for animals. The dogs and cats that come into our hospital cannot speak for themselves; it is being their voice that keeps me coming back every day. I get to be a part of so many big experiences, from meeting a child’s new puppy to feeling the pain of losing a beloved pet. The clients that I’ve gotten to know, my co-workers, and the pets I’ve seen grow up in form of my eyes, have all become my family.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and my fur baby, PB.
